The City of Pocatello and planning consultant, Town Planning & Urban Design Collaborative, LLC (TPUDC) invite you to Codeapalooza™ Sept 28th – Oct 1st & 6th! Join us to learn more about the Zoning Pocatello: Coding for Character project and provide your ideas!

What is a Codeapalooza™?

A Codeapalooza™ is a multi-day participatory design and public input process where you are invited to work directly with the community, the City, and the consultant as we begin the process of rewriting the Zoning Code. All events are open to the public.

  • Opening Presentation & Mapping Workshop @ 6pm

    Please join us for a presentation to learn more about the project and the Codeapalooza™ process, and then participate in a mapping workshop. There will be time for Q&A at the end.

  • Open Studio (9am - 7pm)

    Over the course of the Codeapalooza™ you will be able to drop in and talk to the team, ask questions and give feedback! Maps will be out for you to draw on and share ideas, and comment cards will be available to provide suggestions.

    Topical Meeting #1: Open Space & Natural Resources [9-10am]

    This meeting is about open space and natural resources in Pocatello. This roundtable, freeform type of discussion is open to anyone!

    Topical Meeting #2: Housing & Development [12-1pm]

    This meeting is about housing and development in Pocatello. What types of housing and development do you want to see in the future? This roundtable, freeform type of discussion is open to anyone!

    Topical Meeting #3: Community Character [6-7pm]

    This meeting is about the character of Pocatello. We will discuss architecture and design and their impact on the City’s character. This roundtable, freeform type of discussion is open to anyone!
